Job Title: Coding Standards Architect
Employment Type:  Fulltime
Experience Required: 5+ Years Experience


Role Description:
The Coding Standards Architect is a role that will be heavily involved in both technology and Architecture.  This role will be responsible for lead development and review of source code, code reviews, and descriptions for all Software Components in accordance with the Detailed Software Requirements Specification.

Primary Objectives:
•    Focus on leading day-to-day efforts in the specification and development of technical solutions.
•    Ensure technical requirements support the business strategy.
•    Read code, review code, and follow all coding practices.
•    Specify/select tools to enhance development process.
•    Ensure architectural changes (as defined by architects) are being implemented
•    Will work closely with the Services and Product teams on code reviews
•    Lead teams or drive work in the transference of business requirements & functional specifications into technical specifications.
•    Ensure architectural changes (as defined by architects) are being implemented

Skills/Attributes Required:
•    Very Strong Java/J2EE background
•    Strong experience in architecting Web based Java applications is required
•    IBM WebSphere Commerce experience
•    Good Web tool knowledge (Tomcat, HTML, CSS, ExtJs), Flash/Flex
•    Strong experience in architecting Web based Java applications is required
•    Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
•    Coding Standards knowledge is required

Education and Experience:
•    A bachelor’s degree is required.
•    5+ years in core Java and J2EE technologies
