Job Title: Graphic Design/Developer
Employment Type: Fulltime
Experience Required: 2-5 Years Experience
Role Description:
The Interactive Designer/Developer is responsible for creative design and development of online & print communications for CrossView Inc and our clients. This includes creative strategy, concepts, designs and development of websites, email, online advertising banners and other forms of traditional and rich media.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Design web page layout and online content components for internal projects and client engagement
· Design and develop all online communications such as banner advertising, splash pages and e-mail campaigns.
· Ability to translate business requirements and technical considerations into design recommendations to maximize performance
· In-depth knowledge and application of online best practices in design work: Usability, Search Engine Optimization, Site Performance, Browser Compatibility and others
· Highly creative, technically savvy, self-motivated with a thorough understanding of user-centric design
· Able to translate overall brand guidelines and positioning into interactive designs including visual look and feel, design layout, fonts, imagery, animation
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
· Excellent oral and written communications
Technical Skills:
· Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flex and Adobe Flash
· Ability to create standards compliant CSS/ XHTML Layouts
· Experience in designing and developing for ecommerce websites, e-mail campaigns, and banner advertising
· Expertise in web-based technologies, technical concepts, and the constraints they impose upon design.
· Understanding of JSTL or other programming languages and ability to learn programming skills
· Ability to design and develop custom JSPs utilizing Rational products, WebSphere Commerce Studio a plus,
· Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies.
· Ability to rapidly iterate designs into an application
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related/equivalent work experience.
Location:
Remote Position. There is a 30-50% travel requirement for this position.
