Job Title: Project Manager

Role Description:
The primary purpose of CrossView’s Project Manager role is to plan and manage the delivery of business systems solutions and associated application technical support services in support of business objectives and ongoing operations. This includes systems and project planning, estimating, execution, implementation and ongoing support. The Project Manager will work closely with the functional business groups to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives. This position is also responsible for application staff development and technology vendor relationship management.

Primary Objectives & Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for application systems/project planning, estimating, tracking and management. This includes working closely with the business functional areas, and external customers and vendors in defining systems/project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing deliverables and funding. CrossView’s Project Manager is also responsible for all application business systems and services and for providing leadership and direction to the application development staff. This position will also be responsible for managing Technology and consulting vendor/partner relationships, service delivery and overall performance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises approximately 10 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Competencies Required:

• Must be competent in using a personal computer, Microsoft Office Products, and Microsoft Project


• Previous experience managing an eCommerce project for a mid to large B2C or B2B site and have references from that client and their team members a plus


• Must have owned the estimation and budget of the project


• Must have facilitated analysis sessions with users and technology group


• Must have written requirements documents and use cases


• Must have owned plan for their team and vendors


• Must have experience managing projects using the agile development methodology


• Must have managed scope process with customer

The ideal incumbent in this role will have retail, manufacturing and/or eCommerce implementation experience, strong working Agile PM methodology experience, SCRUM, former experience in a remote PM role and prior experience in a consulting role.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Education and/or Experience Required:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

• PMI Certification is a plus
• SCRUM Master Certification is a plus

Location / Travel Requirement:
We have 3 formal office locations in Research Triangle Park, NC, Toronto, ON and Noida, India. Our employees are not required to live near our office locations and can work remotely. There is a 30-50% travel requirement for this position.
