Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead

Role Description:
The Quality Assurance Lead will work directly with the Quality Assurance Manager in the software testing life cycle, automation and defect management. The Quality Assurance Lead will also be involved in testing applications developed upon IBM Web Sphere Commerce platform including Accelerator, Admin console and Org Admin Console.
Primary Objectives:
• Responsible for delivering bug free and stable eCommerce applications.
• Design and create automation framework and automated test suite.
• Good knowledge of creating automated test cases using Selenium and must have an understanding of JUnit or TestNG framework
• Setting up the QA processes and ensuring that they are followed throughout the test cycle.
• Coordinating testing activities, defect tracking and reporting.
• Understanding requirements and teaching test team to enable them to create test cases.
• Responsible for creating high level, mid level and low level planning documents for team.
• Work with customers to ensure test plan is on track and bugs are being resolved as per schedule.

• Automated Testing Tools: Selenium, Mercury QTP 8.2
• Operating Systems: DOS, Windows 98/2000/XP, Windows NT
• Productivity Tool: MS Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Adobe
• CMS: Wiki, SharePoint
• Version Control Tool : VSS, CVS
• Languages: C, Java, XML, UML
• Modeling Tool: Rational Rose
• Database: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server 2000
Education and Experience:
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Three to Five years of Quality Assurance experience required.
