Job Title: Sr. Retail Strategist

Role Description:
This is a critical, customer facing role, within CrossView’s Strategy and Customer Experience practice. As Sr. Strategist, you will work with major retailers and consumer brands to help them craft and execute cross-channel commerce strategies. In this role you will help clients evaluate their current cross-channel commerce execution, benchmark them against best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement. You will then lead cross-functional teams to execute the agreed upon strategies and measure their results. You will serve as a subject matter expert for CrossView’s business development teams, and will add a strategic component to CrossView sales proposals. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand clients’ challenges, possess a keen intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate the ability to learn new skills in our rapidly changing marketplace. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow this function into a formal management position.

Primary Objectives:

  • Manage a portfolio of strategy consulting projects aimed at resolving key strategic issues and lead to positive impact for CrossView clients. Develop cross-channel commerce strategies for CrossView clients.
  • Work day-to-day on client service engagements, typically with regular visits on client premises. Generate billable hours for the CrossView Strategy and Customer Experience practice.
  • Increase the perceived value of CrossView client proposals
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cross-channel commerce. Develop and deepen the industry expertise of the Strategic Services team
  • Build and nurture influential trusted advisor relationships with a broad range retail and consumer brand executives.
  • Help define future product and service offerings for the CrossView strategy and customer experience group.
  • Contribute to the CrossView product development roadmap and overall company growth and vision.

Required Skill:

Education and Experience Required:
The Sr. Retail Strategist position is integral part of the Strategy team and requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience across retail, consulting, or e-business. A BA is required, and Masters is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills are a must and prior consulting experience is strongly preferred. A strong background in e-commerce and/or retail operations is required. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

Location / Travel Requirement:
We have 3 formal office locations in Santa Clara, CA, Toronto, ON and Noida, India. Our employees are not required to live near our office locations and can work remotely. There is a 50% travel requirement for this position.
