Developer Role:
Experience developing thin and fat client Java 2.0 based applications on products such as WebSphere Application Server and Tomcat. Desired experience also includes installing, configuring and developing customized code for WebSphere Commerce server. This includes developing custom Commands Tasks, EJBs and JSPs. Perform the maintenance and modification of programs currently in production. Code new applications from predefined program specifications.

Required Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience developing J2EE applications and EJBs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• WSAD
• Ability to create Enterprise Java Beans, servlets and JSPs.
• Strong knowledge of JSP development using JSTL
• Can explain the Model / View / Controller framework
• Familiarity with some opensource frameworks like Struts is a plus
• Understanding of the day to day practice of source code control

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Location / Travel Requirement
Our consultants work from their home offices and travel to client locations as needed.   There is a 50-75% travel requirement for this position.
