Job Title: Quality Automation Lead

Role Description:

The Quality Assurance Automation Lead will work directly with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the development of the automated tests to support CrossView's Product Development team. In addition to working with CrossView's Product Development team, the Quality Assurance Automation Lead will champion the automated test methodology to the services organization as well to ensure consistent processes across the CrossView organization

Primary Objectives:

  • Design and create automation framework and automated test suite using open source tool (preferable) or commercial tools.
  • Must have experience in creating, developing and implementing robust and scalable automation framework.
  • Good knowledge of creating automated test cases using Selenium and must have an understanding of JUnit or TestNG framework.
  • Should be able to document the automation methodology and enable others (both onshore and offshore) on how develop the tests.
  • Work with the build and deploy manager to add the automated testing to the build scripts and ensure that reports with the test results are emailed to the development team.
  • Coordinating QA resources to assist in the development of the test cases.
  • Work continuously to add the new features in the automated test suite.

  • Productivity Tool: MS Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Adobe
  • CMS: Wiki, SharePoint
  • Scripting: shell scripts, command scripts, Apache ANT
  • Version Control Tool : SVN, CVS
  • Languages: C, Java, XML, UML
  • Database: DB2, Oracle, MySql

 

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Three to Five years of Quality Assurance experience required.
