“This is really the next logical step in removing barriers
between our customers and sales staff.”
- Eoin Comerford, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Technology, Moosejaw
OverviewSpecialty retailer Moosejaw is known for pushing the envelope – using technology to get closer to customers. An early adopter of social media and a long-time evangelist on the virtues of cross-channel commerce, Moosejaw is continually looking for new ways to satisfy and connect with customers. So it’s not surprising that the retailer known for its “Madness” loyalty and rewards program is crazy about CrossView’s new mobile point of sale solution.
Just in time for the holidays, Moosejaw has implemented CrossView’s new handheld mobile POS in each of its stores throughout the Midwest. In fact, it plans to outfit all of its new stores with the handheld technology as it expands into more markets over the next 12 months.
Not surprisingly, Moosejaw is among the first retailers of its size to embrace the technology, joining well-known and considerably larger brands such as Apple, Old Navy, Nordstrom and Home Depot as converts. “This is really the next logical step in removing barriers between our customers and sales staff,” says Eoin Comerford, Moosejaw’s senior vice president of Marketing and Technology. “Creating that close connection with customers online and in stores is a big part of our brand and the mobile POS plays to that strength.”
