New Executive Talent Join CrossView

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- – July 12, 2010 – CrossView, a premier provider of cross-channel commerce solutions, today announced that new executive talent has joined the firm. David Ricketts has joined CrossView as vice president of Business Development, and Michael Peters has joined the firm as chief information security officer.

Before joining CrossView, David Ricketts built and led a retail-centric vertical sales team focused on cross-channel solutions for Sterling Commerce, which is being acquired by IBM. In addition to leading a consultative sales team that grew cross-channel commerce revenue in Sterling Commerce by more than 200 percent, Ricketts led the delivery of cross-channel enablement, encompassing complex, retailer-specific strategies, technologies and solutions.

A 20-year veteran of IT, Ricketts served as a sales executive for Manhattan Associates where he gained extensive expertise in supply chain applications before joining Sterling Commerce. He has held numerous IT-centric management and executive-level positions in a variety of companies across multiple industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing and consulting. He also has worked with a variety of marquee retailers in cross-channel and multi-channel enablement, including Target, Walmart, Lowe’s, Limited Brands, Staples, DSW and Hudson Bay.

An independent information security consultant, researcher, and author, Michael Peters has extensive experience in IT and application software security, and brings 25 years of technology leadership experience to CrossView. Before joining CrossView, he was chief security officer for Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions, chief information security officer for Colonial Bank and served in security leadership roles in Fortune 50, 100, and 500 companies. He has worked in multiple industries, including financial, software development, manufacturing, health care, insurance, defense, education, energy, and transportation.

As CrossView’s chief information security officer, Peters is responsible for all aspects of information security, including IT risk, change control and compliance, threat and incident management, business continuity planning, disaster recovery leadership, management, and strategy. His credential include a Master of Business Administration in IT Management, a Bachelor of Science in IT Security, and multiple professional certifications, including CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CCE, CMBA, and SCSA. Peters is pursuing a Juris Doctor focused on federal and international cyber law.
