How CrossView Tax Calculation Integrations Work":

  • These integrations have been designed to fetch tax rates by making minimum possible calls to the tax providers. For one order, only one request will be sent to tax provider for one shipping address. This is achieved by caching the tax percentage for each shipping address. The following are details of each integration product:

Options Provided by the CrossView Integrations:

  • You can specify the states for which the tax should be applicable. This is done by setting the value of a property in the property file to the comma separated list of states’ codes.
  • You can by-pass the integration and use the standard IBM WebSphere Commerce tax calculation framework to calculate the tax. This can be done by changing the value of a property in the property file.
