Santa Clara, CA — March 5, 2012 — CrossView, Inc., a cross-channel commerce solutions and retail technology provider, announced today that a new web store it designed and implemented for Delta Apparel has helped the active wear manufacturer and distributor grow its business-to-business web sales by significant margins and has increased the company’s sales pipeline as the volume of business and individual traffic on the site continues to grow.

Delta Apparel, a leading private-label brand, engaged CrossView to build and deploy its new business-to-business web store to keep pace with customer requirements for an easy-to-use portal to browse and buy the company’s products, and offer a real-time view into inventory.
Delta Apparel sought a more flexible platform and one that enabled new features and functionality. Ease of use was a priority along with improvements such as faceted search capabilities.
“We didn’t want the site to behave like a backend system. The people who buy online with us are the same ones who shop with any other retail website,” Maxwell said. “We wanted our online store to feel and behave the same as a business-to-consumer site – only with B2B functionality.”
The CrossView-designed site is a hybrid solution that looks and feels like a business-to-consumer site, but behaves like business-to-business and delivers operational efficiencies needed in this channel. Online order management is enabled so that buyers can check inventory availability immediately through the company’s distribution centers. The new site also makes it simpler for business users to respond to fluctuating market conditions.
