POS Solution

Our POS Solution provides virtually all of the key features and capabilities that retailers require, as well as a POS proxy server that facilitates several types of integration into enterprise systems.

The solution leverages the master information stored at the enterprise level while providing more than enough processing power and capabilities at the POS to exceed retailers' expectations. In addition, CrossView architects designed a set of open architecture services using WebSphere Commerce software that can be easily integrated into many of the industry standard shipping and taxation solutions. CrossView POS includes features such as the following:

• Supports a quick checkout process by providing intuitive SKU lookup options, including bar code scanning and the ability to search for items using a wide variety of terms
• Improves sales clerk productivity by accommodating price overrides and other order adjustments that clerks are authorized to make

Facilitates loyalty programs, cross- and up-selling efforts and better customer service by enabling sales clerks to enter and look up customer information, including past orders or sales information which:

• Supports offline order processing-including SKU lookups-when the Internet connection is down
• Provides for comprehensive reporting, including cash drawer reconciliation, order information, sales commissions and other store operation details
• Provides near-real-time inventory information at the store and enterprise levels to help avoid stock-outs and to optimize
• Perform standard checkout processes, including:
  
  
• Perform stock keeping unit (SKU) lookups, using either bar codes or any number of item attributes
• Adjust orders, including price overrides and other adjustments, based on appropriate authorization levels
• Look up and apply relevant tax rates
• Enter customer information for payments and loyalty programs
